One of the many benefits of membership in the Midland Amateur Radio Club is a w5qgg.org email address. Members may obtain a POP3 email account or a forwarding email account.
With a POP3 account users will have a 10 MB mailbox and can check their email on the web or download it to an email program such as Outlook Express. A forwarding account will forward incoming email to an existing email account.
To obtain a w5qgg.org email address simply send an email to the webmaster. In your email please include the email address you would like to have, i.e. yourname@w5qgg.org or yourcall@w5qgg.org or whatever@w5qgg.org. You can choose anything you want as long as it is not already in use. If you want a forwarding account be sure to include the email address you want your email forwarded to.
You will receive an email when your account has been set up. If a POP3 account was requested you will be advised of your password. You can change your password the first time you log into your account using Webmail.
