Saturday, 19 June 2010 12:14

Field Day 2010 will be here in just a few more days!  FD will be the weekend of June 26 & 27.  We'll meet at the clubhouse at 8 am on Saturday morning to load up equipment and then proceed to Beal Park for setup.  Actual operating begins at 1 pm Saturday afternoon and runs until 1 pm Sunday afternoon.

We plan to have three HF stations, a Get on the Air station, and a VHF station.  Please come on out and help set up and operate.  We will especially need help on Sunday when it comes time to tear everything down.  We are ALWAYS short of help at that time so PLEASE come and help on Sunday.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Field Day!

Only five club members combined for a score of 230,008 points, but those five members averaged over 45,000 points per log, the highest in the Local Club category. Last year's top club, the Central Virginia Contest Club, came in second place, with 8 club members combining a total score of 129,012 points. The Lincoln Amateur Radio Club of Lincoln, Nebraska came in a close third place with 120,384 points earned from four logs."
