Thank you! Thank you!
A big thank you to all the members of the Midland Amateur Radio Club for your efforts in planning, working in the preparations, and all that have worked during the St. Patriot's Hamfest. It takes many people to help make the Hamfest a success. You may ask, why do we go to all this work and trouble each year? First. We do it for our "guests" that will be coming to Midland. Secondly, we do it to raise money for the operation of the Midland Amateur Radio Club. Thirdly, we do it to honor the amateurs of the past that helped make the St. Patrick's Hamfest what it is today. Specifically, a special thanks goes to Beverley Harwood, KC5BNT, and Larry Nix, N5TQU, who have done such an outstanding job as Co-Chairman of the Hamfest for many years. Also, a special thanks to Ted Harwood, W5WTX, who has done the "leg work", computer work, and just "plain old hard" work. Thanks.
