The Big Spring Amateur Radio Club was quite involved in the search at the Mustang Draw accident. We were there from the first day until the water receded and the search was concluded. quency and our 820 machine. Terry Rumpff, KC5WR, with the county fire truck was our Net Control. He alternated with Glen Ray, KA5GQI.
Sony Tant, NtBCM, Allen Nichels, KC5NHV, and Chris Churchwell, KC5DFZ, and W.R. Loper, K5EKO, Hunted on foot, hunted by boat, and directed traffic. They all did a swell job.

applause as he searched every day from 10:00 AM to ll:00 PM. I saw him on horse back, canoe, boat, air-boat, pontoon, and walking with about 300 others.
Glen Ray, KA5EKO, was with the Salivation Army in the Emergency Mobile diner.
