Due to an increasing state and nation wide effort to move the active packet stations to a more common frequency for operating especially APRS nets, the SAG Packet station has now QSY'd to 144.390. San Angelo now joins Midland and several other metroplexes on this common frequency. After a Labor day trip to the site where a damaged power supply and packet radio were discovered, I was able to replace the radio with the backup radio and power supply I had brought. The radio and power supply will be repaired as soon as possible and returned. Any problems that occur or comments with the current station, may be brought to Al Peterson AA5KG or my attention. I will keep you advised of any new updates as they occur. Happy Packeting! 73 (Via B. John McDaniel, KE5PL) |
